Responsibilities

  • Promotes Helmer values as demonstrated in personal productivity and quality of work, management of internal/external relationships, and willingness to engage and support team initiatives.
  • Comply with workplace safety procedures.
  • Monitor and collect data on current operations including planning, sourcing, inventory, warehousing, production and shipping & receiving.
  • Develops and create dashboards monitoring key performance indicator, supplier scorecards & etc for distribution to main stakeholders
  • Analyze data to determine areas for performance improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team on forecasts, larger orders and planning scenarios.
  • Monitors contract compliance of carriers and other logistics service providers.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy with the ERP system and is the main coordinator of any inventory adjustments.
  • Other duties and responsibilities and projects as assigned.

 

 

Qualifications

Related Work Experience:  A minimum of 4 years in analysis and data gathering in business but preferably in supply chain operations.   

Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business management or related fields

Certifications/Licenses:  APICS and/or related certification preferred.

Computer Systems/Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MRP/ERP (MS Dynamic AS) tools for analytical and presentation purposes

  • Ability to perform analysis using various sources of data to develop supplier performance history (price, quality and on-time deliveries).
  • Ability to establish continuous improvement goals, implement methodologies, and achieve desired results using Six Sigma tools.
  • Ability to adapt easily to changing business needs – adapting approach, goals and methods to achieve successful solutions and results in dynamic situations.
  • Ability to complete tasks without a lot of direction and to develop and meet project time lines.
